"We've been using our previous insurance provider since 2014. Never had any issues with them. BUUUUUUT - our auto ins, which started off at a very good rate, kept creeping up. Homeowners kept creeping up. I'm not being critical as everything gets more expensive and the previous company has been really good to us. Long and short, I decided to look around to see if I could find a better rate. My mom uses State Farm and she gave me her agent's name - Jon Garten - State Farm. I called them and spoke with Amy. She is awesome. I knew I'd come to the right place when I told her what I was paying for homeowners' insurance and she asked, 'is that per quarter?' and I said, 'no, that's monthly.' And she said, 'OMGosh.' She got to work asking me questions about our autos and home. Gave me lots of info and a very good feeling that switching to State Farm was the absolute best thing to do. Said she'd get back to me the following day with quotes but she didn't. She got back to me that afternoon! And my husband and I were upside down with how much we were saving by switching. And each time I spoke with Amy through this whole process, she kept giving me changes with our rates. They kept going - DOWN! Took us a couple of days to get all the info together and we now have two awesome polices with Jon Garten - State Farm.
